Bluebonnet Caregivers was founded in 2025 by Katie Snyder, but her path to senior care started long before that. When you call Bluebonnet, you reach Katie directly. There is no call center. She personally meets every family, listens to your situation, and matches your loved one with a caregiver she has hand-selected and trusts.
The story behind Bluebonnet.
Katie first stepped into caregiving the way many families do, by helping care for her own family members and loved ones as they grew older. She later took on professional caregiving as well, so she came to know the work from both sides: as the family member trying to balance care with work and children, and as the caregiver in the home.
Those experiences taught her what families really need when they are worried about a parent. They are the reason Bluebonnet exists. Katie saw how much families needed a home-care agency that puts relationships, communication, and trust first, and treats every client like family.
Fort Worth is home.
Katie was raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has called Fort Worth home since 2020. She is passionate about serving seniors and families across Fort Worth and the surrounding communities. The same streets, the same doctors, the same rhythms that her own family knows.
The owner answers the phone.
When you call Bluebonnet, you reach Katie directly. She conducts the free in-home assessment. She makes the caregiver match herself. When something needs adjusting, a schedule change, a different caregiver fit, a question about your loved one’s care plan, Katie is the one on the other end of the line.
She stays involved in every case, because she believes great care is about more than completing tasks. It is about building trust, preserving dignity, encouraging independence, and creating relationships that improve life for clients and their families alike.

Katie is a licensed Texas Personal Assistance Services (PAS) Agency Administrator and has completed the Texas Health and Human Services PAS Administrator training. She continues her education in senior care, dementia awareness, and caregiving best practices so the standard of care at Bluebonnet keeps rising.
Family, friends, and two dogs.
Outside of work, Katie spends her time with her husband and business partner Cameron, their family and friends, and their two dogs, Nala and Wego. Service has always been part of who she is, and she believes the best care starts with genuine human connection.
